5th October 2008 Heat announce the arrival of new GM "Doodles"

After many rumors going around about the signing of a new General Manger for the Miami Heat, they have finally decided to sign Doodles. It was officially announced mid-day today, Doodles is very happy to be on this team and can see a great future ahead of the team. The first step is to get in to division 1 and once that is done he is ready to get the team starting on a run for a championship. Only time will tell were this team goes.

"I have had a couple of days to talk with the team players and staff, and I'm glad to say that I seem to get along with everybody and It seems that everybody else gets along with each other which will help are team a lot. After talking with all of the players and having discussed there feelings on the team I have made my future plans for the team. Marion and Me have been talking and he spoke about how he wouldn't mind a trade to a team were he could be a leader although he is enjoying playing here with the heat and that it is up to me the gm if he stays or go he says that he will play as hard as he can no matter what the choice. But we will just have to wait and see what happens to Marion
11th October 2008 Young shooting star comes to heat

JJ Redick will be wearing a heat jersey from now on as the Miami Heat trade with Charlotte Bobcats for Ricky Davis the heat also receive Donyell Marshall and the New Orleans Hornets second round pick in 08. GM doodles says "It is quite a risky trade in trading Davis as he is an important player to this team. but its not like we're not getting something in return we are getting a nice young shooter in return and a solid back up power forward".
The Trade has not yet been finalized due to it currently going threw the NBA and players going threw medicals
