I might have roster space after my trade so ill make another offer:
Year 1 = 500,000 Year 2 - 1,055,000 Year 3 - 1,055,000 Year 4- 500,000
Total = $3,110,000 total
Since that all the other offers were illegal this is the highes one so far and its right

500,000 x 1.11(the 11% as Boston told me) = 1,055,000

Um.....500k is just under half (ie. 50%) of $1,055,000
20% of 500k is 100k so something is wrong somewhere

$500,000 * (1.11) = $555,000

555,000 + 500,000 = 1,055,000
you can add the result to the previous salary

I should've been following this discussion.
$500,000 x 1.11 = $550,000
So the maximum you can offer after a $500,000 is $550,000. Except, we also have the rule that offers may increase by a maxium of either 11% or $500,000. So the max you can offer after a $500,000 is $1,000,000. Not $1,055,000.
