Dynasty Six Programming Network - Rewards System In a bid to increase the creativity and enthusiasm of our members, Dynasty Six is implementing a rewards system to benefit those who make contributions to the D6PN Media Center with articles of interest.GMs who post their own newspaper stories, interviews, reviews, rankings or any other piece of creative work related to the league will now earn D6 reward points that can be used to further the interests of their team. Whenever a creative article is posted in the D6PN Media Center it will be accompanied by a poll where other members may rank the article. Articles may be ranked 1 to 5, the higher the ranking the more reward points the GM will receive. Reward points will accumulate on a GMs account and may be spent towards the following ends: - Decreasing the time an injured player takes to heal.
- Gaining favor from player agents during Re-Signing or Off Season Free Agency to increase the chance of signing a player.
- Exceeding the salary cap on a lopsided trade.
- Overruling the staff vote on a rejected trade.
- Setting the primacy of one of your team's players to 90.
- Building a "player's mansion" in your team's city to increase the chance of poaching an expiring player from another team.
Technicalities are outlined in the post below this one.

D6PN - Rewards System - Technicalities
Dynasty Six Content Your D6PN thread must be related to Dynasty Six in some way or another. Posting threads about real-life stories will not earn you reward points.
Ratings are cumulative. Each thread will be accompanied by a poll for other members to vote on the quality of the article. Ratings are cumulative, a rating of 1 will give 1 reward point to the GM who posts the article, a rating of 5 will give 5 reward points.
Reward points cannot be used for increasing player ratings other than primacy.
Reward points may be included in trades between teams.
Reward points may be spent on many different factors that benefit your team. The price of each benefit will be decided once it is discerned how many reward points each should be worth.
Self-voting If you vote on your own article, it will be assumed you voted a 5 star rating and this amount will be deducted from the total.

I can't say I'm for this, but if there's a vote, and the rest of the league votes it good, I'm fine with it.

Sounds good! Whats the difference between a 90 primacy and 70 primacy though It's not a huge difference. But Arenas' primacy just happens to be 99 at the moment in D5 and he has had several 40+ point games recently. He is an extreme case though probably. Chicago - LOL ;D Seattle - I will definitely be doing this idea, atleast as a trial, here at D6. If it doesn't work, then I'll scrap it.

Alright, I'm not a fan of it, but if it's going to be, then I'm down with it.

I'm not a big fan of it either... I think its going to put an even wider line between the best and the worst teams of each division, especially when it comes to getting primacy up and signing free agents
No one cares if the entire Supersonics have a primacy of 90... but if the entire Pistons have a primacy of 90, they are unstoppable. See what I mean

Boston, you clearly put a lot of effort in this article, and you got right to the point with what your trying to get accross. At times, however, I was wondering if you yourself truely believed what you were saying in this piece. To be honest, this article had the potential to be much, much more than the final product shows. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to give you a rating of "2" for this write-up, and I would advise against creating a sequel.
