I accept. I originally acquired Monta Ellis merely with a view to moving him elsewhere because I prefer pure Point Guards running the point - I thought I would receive an elite point guard to replace him but despite the amount I shopped Ellis, TJ Ford seems the best I can do - not that I think him unworthy! Adding Portland's (currently projected mid-1st-round) draft pick balances the difference between TJ and Monta for me since, this off season, I will be unable to re-sign a lot of my benchers and there might be some enviable talent available, when Portland's pick comes, to fill a hole that might bloom into a future starter following the big-3 era. Unfortunately I lose one of my big-3, but I replace him with another guy I consider as his equal in Manu Ginobili. Manu isn't the pure shooter like Ray, but he is a great all around scorer and there's no reason he can't compliment Garnett and Pierce just as well.

The pick's unneccesary.

I don't know why a mid-1st-round pick would unbalance this, but either way it doesn't matter because Portland's rightly told me that he traded that pick earlier in the year. We're working on re-formulating as of now.

I accept, Ill get a good big man who is great in sims, if he doesnt play good Ill have the choice to trade him for a C/PF..IMO a PF has higher values than a SG

I've changed the 2008 1st Rounder to a 2009 1st Rounder, per Portland's request.

I accept, The boozer/bosh experiment didnt work as well as planned so i need a scorer BIG TIME...and getting ray ray AND monta to complete the backcourt is incredible. Still have Bosh and now i can play millsap at PF to focus the frontcourt on only bosh now. I like the way my team is heading and hopefully this will take me out of the danger zone and into playoff contention

I'll accept this although I feel Portland is slightly overpaying.

The only thing stopping me from accepting this is the fact that we have no idea how Montae is going to come back from his accident. Is a question mark like him really worth a healthy (yet injury-prone) Ford and a 1st rounder I view Allen and Manu as a near wash.

Isn't Ford a question mark too, like Ellis I don't think this trade is so close to call.
Anyway, we need some decisiveness from Memphis and Indiana on this deal thankyouprease!
