NBA Player Watch
Keeping an eye on NBA player performance in a Dynasty Six context.
Milwaukee Bucks - Yi Jianlian
Yi's debut with the Nets will hopefully be a sign of things to come for the lacklustre D6 Bucks this season. Milwaukee has struggled despite it's berth into the Second Division, currently in 30th place in the league, and a boost to Yi could propel the hopes of the Bucks faithful. Yi hit 7-11 FG including 2-2 3PT, scoring an efficient 17 points for the new-look real-life Nets and adding 6 rebounds too.
Tampa Bay Assassins - Jermaine O'Neal
Jermaine and Chris Bosh sure do look like a formidable frontline for the Raptors IRL and O'Neal started things off with a 17points (7-15FG), 8 rebound and 5 assist night against the Sixers. It's clear that Bosh is the man in Toronto, posting 27pts/11reb, but O'Neal's new lease of life in Toronto may dispel some rating-drop worries for the Assassins here at D6.
New York Knicks - Danny Granger
Granger was picked up about a month ago by the Knicks and it's clear he's the main man in Indiana these days. The young forward scored his number (33 points) against the Pistons, adding 5 rebounds and 3 blocks as the Pacers lost against the perennially excellent Pistons. Moving Shane Battier, who's lost a lot of minutes to Ron Artest in Houston IRL already this season, to acquire Granger might have been a stroke of genius by New York!
Los Angeles Clippers - Al Thornton
It's clear the real-life Clippers plan to make sophomore sensation Al Thornton a bigger part of their future plans, giving him more burn against the Lakers than any other player on their roster last night. Thornton finished with 16 points as the Lakers blew out the Clips minus Camby, but look for the second year small forward to move up in the player ratings sooner or later!
