Dynasty Six 2008 Rookie Draft
The 2008 Rookie Draft (Mayo, Beasley, Rose etc.) will be held before D6's season begins.
The top six picks will go to the six new expansion teams in reverse order to the expansion draft.
The rest of the picks will go in order of 2007/08 NBA record to each team (therefore Miami will pick 7th).
The first round will contain 36 picks to include the expansion teams. The second round will contain 24 picks and will exclude the top six teams from the 2007/08 NBA season (Boston to Utah).

Just a thought the rookie draft should be the reverse order for the expansion teams. Since TB get Oneal and sandiego wont get ne1 on that level then whoever has the last pick in the 1st rnd should get the first in the rookie draft u kno. Keeps it fair and gives all expansion teams a chance. U kno! just a thought...

Larry Hughes & Drew Gooden might be rated the highest but they are not anywhere near O'Neal's level. With this in mind the next 2-6 picks in the 1st round will be considerably similar picks talent wise so I dont think its justified to just reverse the order of the expansion draft for the rookie draft. The Stallions could get just as good of players with the 6th & 7th picks that I could get at the 3rd pick. Basically what I am trying to say is that the 5 teams that dont get O'Neal will all be pretty equal & therefore should have a shot at getting a top 2 pick. Perhaps Tampa should just be put in the 6th spot of the rookie draft & the other 5 teams have a random order determined from picks 1-5.

Yea i see what ur saying and yea put TB in the 6th slot because they are getting an all star and the rest do a lottery would be more fair.

Jermaine O'Neal will get a huge ratings drop Baltimore. He averaged 13 PPG this year, and is only available for 50 games a year tops.
He's just not a good player anymore.

He'll still be an 80s player, but there's a reason why he didn't opt out of his deal next year. It's cos he's not worth that kinda money anymore - or was he ever!

The expansion teams get 1st pick and then the real order thats why so the bulls have the 7th but 1st among regualar teams u see.....

this stinks.. i think the draft should go in the opposite order of the expansion draft.. i dont think it is fair with me having the second last pick in the expansion draft where my highest player is a 75 and i also get second last pick in the draft out of expansion teams.

According to the first post, I think that is the way the real draft will be held...in reverse order of the expansion draft. And even though I wouldn't change things now, I would have preferred just randomizing both orders and let the spots fall as they may.
