Unless I'm missing something that only says that the top 6 teams wont start with a '08 2nd round pick and says nothing about not being able to trade for one.

Unless I'm missing something that only says that the top 6 teams wont start with a '08 2nd round pick and says nothing about not being able to trade for one. He's saying how, IRL, the Spurs were a top 6 team, so he doesn't have his 2nd rounder at all, and not able to trade it.

if your a TOP 6 team IN THIS YEAR'S DRAFT, then you don't have any 2nd round picks.
