ill try this irl thing again.
I'm pretty sure Eminem composed a song about my recent condition. Hm. Was it "Lose Yourself'' Well I've never barf'd on my sweater, so nah. Could it be "Cleaning Out My Closet" It couldn't be, I am pretty tidy guy. Ah, I've got it! "Without Me"! Because without me you would be stuck scrolling your fucking computer screen to read a pointless "quiz" of your fellow peers. So, after taking a well deserved rest from my bloggin' duties, I am here to present my mumble-jumble of words to your curious eyes. After all, my job as a writer is to:
inform the reader [that is you] about loads of info crap.
make situations that seem pointless and boring, exciting and tremendous
So incase you've been injected with mental handicap substances over the past two weeks, the '08 NBA postseason have been capped off with a 4-2 seires victory by the Boston Celtics, over the -- hmmf, I forget the other team's name. Anyways, tears were shed, champagne wasted and speeches distributed. Time marched on..
NBA Draft
"With the first pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls select.."
Yeah sure, there was a 50% chance of all of our predictions. It could've gone Rose or could've gone Beasley. But for those individuals who laid it all on the table for Rose, might've won themseleves a fair bit of change that evening. Indeed, Derrick Rose of the Memphis Tigers, was choosen out of other young prospects and given the name of "First Pick". Derrick's ability to run up and down the court and chalk up the score is unbelieveable. His offensive awareness is undeniable and his shooting ability is deadly. Among Rose, Michael Beasley and OJ Mayo were drafted quickly. Sonly followed by under-rated sensation Russell Westbrook and UCLA's own Kevin Love. The supporting cast of the top ten picks were:
6th: New York friendly [use that term lossely] Danilo Gallinari
7th: Clipper choosen Eric Gordon
8th: West Virgina's own Joe Alexander
9th: Strongest point guard in the draft, D.J. Augustin
10th: Towering center Brook Lopez
Offseason
There are many trades being closed and/or discussed by players and franchises, as of late. There is so much to discuss, I don't know where to begin.
Well to kick things off, the Washington Wizards have successfully locked in there star players Antwan Jamison and Gilbet Arenas into deals that will keep the both of them in the nation's capital.
Josh Smith, of the Hawks, discussed a possible change of uniform next year by chit-chattin' with the 76er's. No deal have been proposed.
The T-Wolves have been busy stacking up on fresh supply of free agents by inkin' Mike Miller. Not only that, the T-Wolves have completed a tremendous deal by trading OJ Mayo for Kevin Love. It's about time Al Jefferson recieves help! And finally, after locking up three key players, the Wolves decide to let Sebastian Telfair and Kirk Snyder to test the depth of the free agent waters.
Reports have spread that the Clippers have come to terms with Baron Davis. The scoring machine said that he looks foward playing along side Brand and Maggette, that is of course they decide to stay. These two players are free agents this year and are making alot of noise. Maggette has been talking to the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and L.A Lakers.
But will the addition to Davis, will this entrice Brand and Maggette
And finally, ending the free agent discussion [even though I could go on] the Raptors have traded away TJ Ford, Rasho Nestorvic and Maceo Baton, as well as a whole crap load of other stuff for Jermaine O'Neal. Forming All-Star states that he's fine and excited to start a new chapter in his NBA career. What folks don't realize is this. O'Neal's contract with the Rap's end's the exact same year as Bosh's, LeBorn's and Carmelo's as well as other talented stars. If Raptors pull off a deal with any of those three stars, the Raptors status could increse dramtically..! But this, of course, is only an ''if''.
