i think LAL can get way more for kobe.... I agree. Lakers, all your trades have come really quickly. You've made some major changes shipping Odom, Gasol for Yao and Tony Parker. I think if you shopped around longer you'd probably get a LOT more for Kobe than Elton Brand. The fact that you're throwing in your 1st Rounder (which will obviously be late, but still... so will the Clips') AND Jordan Farmar is, in my opinion, really weird! On top of that, Elton Brand and Shaun Livingston have both spent the entire past season out injured IRL whilst Kobe won the MVP and his team - which you've drastically changed in 1 week - are in the Finals. I'm gonna have to reject this.

First of all there is a huge difference in those picks. Clipse had the 6th worst record this past season so that should be the 12th pick overall. Lakers are in the Finals that means I get either the 35th pick or 36th pick since there are 36 teams in this league. 23 or 24 spots is a HUGE difference. Farmar will never be a starting point guard in the league b/c he makes too many mental errors while Livingston (just been cleared to practice) has all the tools to be a stud. Brand when healthy is arguably the best PF in the league. Not sure how much more I could get for Kobe. Wade LeBron Those would probably be straight up trades and Kobe is the highest rated player in Live. If you don't think I got enough then fine. I'll shop around but I doubt I'd get much more.

Garnett is better than Brand, Amare is better than Brand IMO and u could get one of those guys in a deal for Kobe...

LAL you really think Livingston is going to be a stud, I don't, I don't think he is a bust either but he is DONE, his career is being close to over, he'll be lucky to get back to the pros, and his injury is just too hard too overcome. Farmer has a chance to be a star, if he just gave more effort on defense then he could be a solid PG.

BOS, I think you are mistaking my D5 Clips to the real life Clips. My pick is Top 6 (without the expansion draft), while the Lakers pick is in the bottom 6.

I really don't like this trade for the Lakers. Trading arguably the best player in the game for a borderline franchise player coming off of a season-ending injury is a questionable move. Livingston's value is at an all-time low as he may be headed down the path of Jay Williams. And the 12th pick isn't enough to justify the differential from the rest of the trade IMO. I reject.
