I accept. This clears up some CAP space (about 23 million trading and 19 million trading). I now don't have any 2nd round picks for the next two seasons but I still have Paul and Chandler to build around.
I also now get a decent frontcourt (trade for Nene is now worth it).
I lose scoring but gain more defense (which is my philosophy).
I also gain a veteran and expiring contract in Antonio McDyess

I personally think this trade favors Detroit. Peja is underrated in the game IMO, and West is in his prime while Mcdyess and Sheed are just about done...

I can only just about make sense of what you've posted. Please take away the quotes and set it out so I can read it first.

Well seeing as DET doesn't look interested (hasn't posted yet) and because of what Miami Heat said about youth... I will close this offer.
Trade Declined.

Not really, he must agree in the thread although agree in a PM, posting it and back out is really bad its not a rule I believe...
IMO this trade is in Detroit's favor, West has more value then Sheed, he is younger, ahs a nice contract and will get a HUGE ratings Boost...so IMO West> Sheed although ratings wise sheed is better, but McDyess = Peja becuase Peja cant play D while McDyess is still fine in D and has improved his scoring hability IMO...dont think that its unfair thoug

Ok well I am going to decline the offer. If you posted before I decided to decline I think that binds me but since I backed out before you posted I think I should be able to end this offer.

David West is an 82 and Peja Stojakovic is an 81 not a 74 This is what mainly caught my attention. I posted the ratings wrong so I believed I was getting a steal. But anyway trade declined. Sorry to waste your time Detroit Pistons.

This trade still stands.
New Orleans, you can't back out of trades once you've committed yourself to them and you shouldn't assume you have the right to end a trade either. You only gave Detroit 1 hour from the time you posted this thread before backing out, and to me that suggests that you just had a change of heart, and even if you didn't you were obviously swayed by Miami's response. Please bear all of this in mind because you are still in your probationary period as a new GM.
Having said all that^^, I reject the trade because it hugely favors Detroit. Rasheed was voted 'most overrated' player in Dynasty Five last season and is long overdue a drop. McDyess is old and has an expiring contract anyway and the addition of two big-men to Tyson Chandler and Nene is a tactically brain-dead move by the Hornets - and I think he now realises this.
Still waiting on the other staff members to vote.

Yeah, I have to agree with everything Boston said. I'm a huge Pistons fan, but Sheed is done. Mcdyess is done too...they are just too old...West is younger and more talented than both of them right now. I decline as well.

I reject as well. Detroit wins this deal by way too large a margin.
