Kidd falling out of favor Is Jason Kidd on the trading block According to the Dallas Tribune, the Dallas Mavericks are willing to part with their star point guard, who is entering the second last year of his contract. Kidd is entering his first full season with the Mavericks and has stumbled out of the gate averaging 12.2 PPG, 4.4 RPG and 5.6 APG in 12 games. Recent reports have indicated Kidd has fallen out of favor with coach Avery Johnson after a disagreement. With the recent acqusition of Delonte West, Kidd's minutes could take a dip if his play doesn't improve. When reached for comment on Saturday, Mavs GM Bryan Colangelo had this to say: "We feel both parties could use a change of scenary, Jason has struggled and we feel he will flourish in a new envoirment." Colangelo is reportedly looking for a replacement at PG and some depth for Kidd.
